DF2_Fixer.zip:(Updated: 3/30/2025) [View original site]

-Easiest way to update your DF2 game files to the current Evolution (EVO) 1.0.7 64Hz.
-Replace all the files in your DF2 game folders with the files in the "DF2_Fixer" folder. Overwrite all files when asked.

DF2 UNFREEZE FIX:
When your DF2 game appears to freeze, simply press the INSERT key on your keyboard and your game should resume like normal. HUGE thanks and full credit to Frank on the Novahq.net forums for information on how to fix this terrible freeze bug!

DF2 64Hz: ***CLIENTS MUST HAVE THIS 64hz PATCH TO JOIN 64hz SERVERS***
Increases the tick rate for the game for smoother online play. HUGE thanks and full credit to Big Baked Bean for creating the 64Hz patch!

Lobby/IBrowse Fix:
Corrected the NovaWorld hostname so the game appears in the NovaWorld lobby. Updated IBrowse enables smoother fonts in the lobby.

Von:
Disables VON on game launch. Do not go into the VON settings in game or it will still crash.

Startup Fix:
Allows you to select the official NovaWorld lobby or alternate NOVAHQ lobby.

STEAM USERS: DO NOT ALLOW STEAM TO VERIFY GAME FILES OR EVERYTHING WILL BE OVERWRITTEN.

Win10/11 Fix **(Only if you have borders or a grey screen)**:
- Use this to remove borders, enable full screen and fix the grey screen issues in recent Windows 10 / Windows 11 versions.
- You can use the dgVoodooCpl.exe to play with the graphic options but the provided dgVoodoo.conf has tested to work.
- You do not need to run dgVoodooCpl.exe with the game. Just drop the files in the games folder and forget about it.

- Copy all files from the "Win11Fix" folder to your games folder. Replace all files when asked.

DF2EvolutionFull.zip:
Complete DF2 Install (Evolution (EVO) 1.0.7) package. (You can join ANY server with this version.)
You WILL need to download DF2_Fixer.zip to update to the latest release.

This is an updated version from the original DF2 Novalogic release.
It includes some bug fixes, all additional mods, terrains and enhanced building textures so you don't need to add all the patches yourself manually.
This version includes the 64Hz patch also.
This includes the "Unfreeze" patch. If your game freezes while playing, just press the Insert key on your keyboard. Nothing else is needed to play DF2 online!

You must extract the download, then put the files in your DF2 folder (overwrite existing files).

DxWnd-v2_06_07_build.rar:
If you have issues on Windows 7, this allows you to run DF2. (DxWnd-v2_06_07_build.zip is the same package in ZIP format.)
